Fairmount Funds Management LLC Acquires Additional Shares in Viridian Therapeutics, Inc.

Fairmount Funds Management LLC, along with Fairmount Healthcare Fund II GP LLC and Fairmount Healthcare Fund II L.P., has acquired additional shares in Viridian Therapeutics, Inc. (VRDN). The transaction, which took place on October 23, 2025, involved the purchase of 454,545 shares of common stock at a price of $22 per share. Following this transaction, the total number of shares owned by the reporting entities increased to 3,914,458. The reporting entities, which include Fairmount Funds Management LLC, Fairmount Healthcare Fund II GP LLC, and Fairmount Healthcare Fund II L.P., are considered directors by deputization of Viridian Therapeutics due to Tomas Kiselak's role on the board of directors and as a Managing Member of Fairmount Funds Management LLC. The entities disclaim beneficial ownership of the securities held by Fairmount Healthcare Fund II LP, except to the extent of their pecuniary interest therein.
