Unilever PLC General Meeting Results

Unilever PLC announced the results of its General Meeting held on 21 October 2025. The meeting addressed the proposed consolidation of its share capital following the demerger of The Magnum Ice Cream Company N.V. Both resolutions proposed were passed as special resolutions. The first resolution, which included the approval of the Share Consolidation and the amendment to the Company’s articles of association, received 99.95% of the votes in favor. The second resolution, which approved amendments to the Company’s authority to purchase its own shares, also received 99.95% of the votes in favor. The total number of Unilever PLC ordinary shares with exercisable voting rights was 2,451,885,266. The results of the meeting will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available for inspection. Unilever also noted that the timetable for the demerger and Share Consolidation will need to be revised due to the ongoing US federal government shutdown.
