PowerBank Corporation announced the completion of a $11.35 million, 5.9 MW solar project in Manlius, New York. The project, which repurposed a closed landfill, is expected to generate enough electricity to power approximately 737 homes. PowerBank hosted the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) for an exclusive tour of the site, highlighting the development process and operational details. The project benefits from incentives under the NYSERDA NY-Sun Program. PowerBank retains a development pipeline exceeding 1 GW and has completed over 100 MW of projects. The company focuses on distributed and community solar projects in North America, aiming to provide clean energy solutions and cost savings for homeowners.
