Banco Santander Share Buyback Program Update

Banco Santander, S.A. has provided an update on its share buyback program, which was approved by the Board of Directors. The bank has repurchased shares worth €833,281,564 as of October 22, 2025, representing approximately 49% of the maximum investment amount for the program. This repurchase accounts for about 14.7% of the bank's outstanding shares as of 2021. The transactions were carried out between October 16 and October 22, 2025, across various trading venues, with detailed information on each transaction provided in Annex I. The buyback program is in compliance with Regulation (EU) no. 596/2014 on Market Abuse and Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052.
