Chief People Officer Transition at The Boston Beer Company

On October 23, 2025, Carolyn L. O’Boyle informed The Boston Beer Company, Inc. of her decision to step down as Chief People Officer after more than five years. Her departure is not related to any disagreement with the Company. Ms. O’Boyle will remain until November 7, 2025, to ensure an orderly transition. On October 29, 2025, the Company’s Board of Directors appointed Laura J. Boynton as the new Chief People Officer. Ms. Boynton has been with the Company since 2001, holding various human resources roles, most recently as Sr. Director of HR Business Partners since August 2024. She will report to CEO C. James Koch and COO Philip A. Hodges. There are no family relationships or arrangements requiring disclosure related to her appointment.
