Nucor Corporation Q3 2025 Earnings Release

Nucor Corporation reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2025, with net earnings attributable to Nucor stockholders of $607 million, or $2.63 per diluted share. This represents an increase from the $603 million, or $2.60 per diluted share, reported in the second quarter of 2025. Net sales for the quarter were $8.52 billion, compared to $8.46 billion in the previous quarter. The company highlighted its continued execution of growth strategies, including the ramp-up of production at two recently completed bar mill projects and advancements in sheet steel production and coating projects. Nucor also emphasized its strong balance sheet, having returned nearly $1 billion to shareholders year-to-date, representing more than 70% of net earnings through the third quarter. The company expects earnings in the fourth quarter of 2025 to be lower than the third quarter, primarily due to lower volumes and average selling prices in its steel mills segment.
