Power of Attorney for Robert Russell-Smith

Robert Russell-Smith, Senior Vice President of Finance at Lithium Americas Corp., has executed a Power of Attorney appointing Tereza Fonda and Edward Grandy as his attorneys-in-fact. This authorization allows them to execute and file Forms 3, 4, and 5 on his behalf in compliance with Section 16(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
