IAMGOLD Corporation Acquires Northern Superior Resources

IAMGOLD Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding shares of Northern Superior Resources Inc. The transaction, valued at approximately $267.4 million, will consolidate Northern Superior's significant land package and notable deposits with IAMGOLD's existing projects, creating the Nelligan Mining Complex. This complex is expected to become one of the largest pre-production gold camps in Canada, with Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources of 3.75 million ounces of gold and Inferred Mineral Resources of 8.65 million ounces. The acquisition aligns with IAMGOLD's strategy to become a leading Canadian-focused mid-tier gold producer. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025 or the first quarter of 2026.
