Zentek Ltd. Granted U.S. Patent for ZenGUARD™ Technology

Zentek Ltd. has been granted U.S. Patent No. 12,616,206 for its ZenGUARD™ graphene-based technology, which includes a 327-day term extension. This patent complements an existing Canadian patent and strengthens Zentek's intellectual property protection for its ZenGUARD™ platform, particularly for applications in HVAC and personal protective equipment (PPE). The company is exploring entry into the U.S. air filtration market, estimated at approximately US$5.3 billion in 2025, with its ZenGUARD™ Enhanced Air Filters, which are designed to improve indoor air quality without increasing energy consumption. Zentek is working with its U.S. partner, Quality Filters Inc., to navigate regulatory requirements for market entry. This U.S. patent broadens the company's IP portfolio for its graphene-based and advanced material technologies, including ZenGUARD™ and Triera.
