ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. Merger Transaction Update

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. announced on September 29, 2026, that it received a letter from the Israeli Government Companies Authority (GCA) regarding the pending merger with Hapag-Lloyd. The GCA has ceased handling the application for approval of changes to the special state share because Hapag-Lloyd and FIMI did not submit a detailed revised proposal by the deadline. The GCA stated that any new proposal must be filed in full detail for review. Hapag-Lloyd has indicated its intention to submit a revised proposal and seek approval from the GCA and the State of Israel concerning the special state share and the merger.
