Trillion Energy International Inc. Announces Warrant Extension and Upsizes Private Placement

Trillion Energy International Inc. announced on June 9, 2026, that it has extended the expiry of 2,124,515 outstanding warrants by one year. The exercise price remains CAD$0.25. The company also announced an update to its previously announced non-brokered private placement, closing 17,172,419 units for gross proceeds of CAD$1,501,900 and settling CAD$1,073,963 in outstanding debt through the issuance of 7,159,751 units. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of a share purchase warrant. The company has applied to increase the size of the offering to up to CAD$3,500,000. Proceeds will be used for contractual work program obligations on the M47 Concession, audit and general corporate purposes, investor relations, offering expenses, and working capital. Certain insiders settled debt through the issuance of 3,294,536 units. The company has also engaged Independent Trading Group, Inc. for market-making services.
