Triple Flag Increases 2026 GEOs Guidance and Announces Steppe Gold Agreement
Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp. has entered into a settlement agreement with Steppe Gold Ltd. to resolve outstanding gold and silver stream obligations. Under the agreement, Steppe has delivered all gold and silver in arrears and has amended its stream agreement to provide fixed cumulative gold deliveries of 34,770 ounces over ten years, starting in Q3 2026. Following this period, Triple Flag will receive 1.5% of the prior quarter's gold production from the ATO mine, capped at 500 ounces quarterly. This settlement, along with strong year-to-date performance, has led Triple Flag to increase its 2026 GEOs guidance to 100,000-110,000 GEOs. The agreement includes immediate deliveries of 1,650 ounces of gold for the prepay agreement, 500 ounces as a stream amendment fee, and 1,946 ounces of gold and 15,618 ounces of silver for arrears. The obligations are secured by the ATO mine and guaranteed by Steppe and its subsidiary Boroo Gold LLC.
