Silvercorp Reports Mineral Reserve Increase in Ying Mining District
Silvercorp Metals Inc. has announced a significant update regarding its Ying Mining District, with a reported 50% increase in mineral reserve tonnes and a 20% increase in silver ounces. This update is based on the "Ying 2026 Technical Report," which indicates projected mining of approximately 106 million ounces of silver over a 17-year mine life ending in 2042. The report highlights an increase in Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources by 90% and in contained metals by 37% for silver. Mineral Reserves have seen a 45% increase in Proven tonnes and a 55% increase in Probable tonnes, with a 20% rise in contained silver.
