Sensei Biotherapeutics Rebrands as Faeth Therapeutics and Appoints New Executive Leadership
On June 15, 2026, Sensei Biotherapeutics, Inc. announced its official name change to Faeth Therapeutics, Inc., following its February 2026 acquisition of the private entity Faeth. The company's Nasdaq ticker will change from 'SNSE' to 'FTH' effective June 16, 2026. Concurrent with the rebranding, the company overhauled its leadership team: Anand Parikh, Faeth co-founder, was appointed President and CEO, while Brian Stephenson, Ph.D., was named CFO. The board was also strengthened with the addition of former FDA Commissioner Stephen M. Hahn and Saira Ramasastry. Operationally, the company terminated its $50 million sales agreement with Jefferies LLC and relocated its principal executive offices to Austin, Texas. The company remains focused on its lead clinical program, PIKTOR, an oral multi-node inhibitor of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. PIKTOR is currently in a Phase 2 trial for advanced endometrial cancer and a Phase 1b/2 trial for HR+/HER2- advanced breast cancer. The company confirmed it is well-capitalized following a $200 million private placement earlier this year.
