Mondelēz International Appoints Amit Banati as New CFO

Mondelēz International, Inc. announced the appointment of Amit Banati as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective July 1, 2026. He will report to Chair and CEO Dirk Van de Put and join the Mondelēz International Leadership Team. Luca Zaramella will transition to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Banati previously served as CFO of Kenvue, Inc., and held senior financial and leadership roles at Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company), Kraft Foods, Cadbury Schweppes, and Procter & Gamble. His compensation package includes an annual base salary of $1,050,000, a target annual incentive of 125% of base salary, and a target annual long-term equity grant of $5,000,000. Additionally, he will receive a make-whole award not exceeding $7,000,000 in cash, subject to repayment under specific termination conditions. Banati has agreed to standard restrictive covenants and will enter into the Company’s indemnification agreement. This appointment is not the result of any arrangement with other persons, and Banati has no family relationship with any directors or executive officers. There have been no reportable related party transactions.
