Lifeloc Technologies, Inc. Completes SpinDetect™ Disk Production Tooling and Commissions Cleanroom
Lifeloc Technologies, Inc. has completed the production tooling for its SpinDetect™ Centrifugal Drug Analyzer consumable test disks and has produced first-article disks. The company has also commissioned a cleanroom with an automated reagent-dispensing robot to support validation and initial manufacturing. The SpinDetect™ program is moving from development into validation and early production. The initial commercialization will target the U.S. forensic testing market and international markets, with a qualitative pass/fail test for delta-9-THC. Subsequent products will include quantitative delta-9-THC disks and a multi-drug panel. A commercial launch is anticipated in late 2026 or early 2027, with the reader priced at approximately $7,495 and test disks priced separately. The company is also investing in its core breath alcohol business, including an OIML-variant of its LX9 device. Lifeloc believes the SpinDetect™ analyzer can help set the standard for roadside and workplace drug testing.
