Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) has released its unaudited consolidated and separate financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2026, prepared in accordance with Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). The figures presented are based on preliminary estimates and have not been audited by independent accountants. Investors are advised that these preliminary results may differ from actual outcomes and should not be solely relied upon for investment decisions. For the first half of 2026, KEPCO reported consolidated operating revenues of KRW 46,317 billion, a slight increase of KRW 143 billion compared to the same period in 2025. However, operating income saw a decrease of KRW 976 billion, falling to KRW 4,913 billion from KRW 5,889 billion in the previous year. Net income attributable to owners of the company also decreased by KRW 705 billion, resulting in KRW 2,760 billion for the first half of 2026, down from KRW 3,465 billion in the first half of 2025. Separate financial statements for KEPCO also indicated a decrease in operating revenues for the first half of 2026, amounting to KRW 44,996 billion, a decrease of KRW 465 billion compared to the prior year. Operating income for the same period decreased by KRW 734 billion to KRW 2,123 billion. Net income also experienced a decline, showing a decrease of KRW 208 billion, resulting in KRW 2,877 billion for the first half of 2026.
