Honeywell Board Approves Spin-Off of Aerospace Business
Honeywell International Inc. announced that its Board of Directors has approved the spin-off of its Aerospace Technologies business, with the distribution expected to occur on June 29, 2026. Following the separation, the remaining company will be named Honeywell Technologies. The spin-off involves a pro rata distribution of Honeywell Aerospace common stock to existing shareholders. Several directors, including Craig Arnold, William Ayer, D. Scott Davis, and Deborah Flint, will resign from the Honeywell Board to join the board of the newly independent Honeywell Aerospace, effective upon the spin-off's completion. Jillian Evanko resigned from the board due to other professional commitments. The company also announced the record date for the distribution as June 15, 2026, and the distribution date as June 29, 2026. Honeywell Aerospace will trade under the ticker symbol "HONA" and Honeywell Technologies will continue under "HON" on the Nasdaq. A reverse stock split of Honeywell Technologies is planned post-spin-off.
