GigaMedia Announces Subscription for Aeolus Preferred Shares

GigaMedia Limited announced on June 16, 2026, that it has subscribed for 719.09 million Aeolus Series C Preferred Shares through the conversion and settlement of Aeolus convertible notes totaling US$12.37 million. This transaction increases GigaMedia's ownership of Aeolus voting rights to approximately 33.35%, and the investment will now be accounted for under the equity method.
