DEFSEC Technologies Inc. Ships New BLISS System to U.S. Army Yuma Test Center
DEFSEC Technologies Inc. has shipped two new networked BLISSTM systems to the U.S. Army Yuma Test Center for test and evaluation. BLISSTM is an enhanced, networked version of the earlier BLDS, designed to alert operators to laser activity, providing early warning and enabling assessment, evasion, defense, and countermeasure deployment. The system can be mounted on vehicles, infrastructure, or personnel, offering enhanced survivability and situational awareness. BLISSTM also features enhanced laser pulse signature capture and analysis to identify the source, intent, and affiliation of detected emissions, supporting faster tactical decisions. The company expects to brief domestic and foreign delegations on BLISSTM at CANSEC, a defense and security show in Ottawa. DEFSEC develops tactical systems for military and security forces, with products including digitization of forces, countermeasures against electronic detection, lasers, and drones, and a less-lethal product line called PARA SHOTTM.
