BrainsWay Presents 12-Month SWIFT Deep TMS Durability Data Showing Over 80% Remission Rate
BrainsWay Ltd. filed a Form 6-K reporting the presentation of new 12-month durability data for its SWIFT accelerated Deep TMS protocol for Major Depressive Disorder at the Clinical TMS Society Annual Meeting. The preliminary data analysis revealed over 80% remission rate one year after accelerated Deep TMS treatment, with a dramatic decline in severe functional impairment from 85% at baseline to 0% at 12 months. The study followed patients from BrainsWay's original FDA pivotal trial, with 73% of participants consenting to the one-year durability follow-up. These findings build upon the previously reported pivotal trial results that supported FDA clearance of the SWIFT protocol in September 2025. The data demonstrates both rapid antidepressant effects and sustained long-term outcomes without the need for neuronavigation equipment.
