BrightSpring Health Services, Inc. Appoints Dr. Nigam H. Shah to Board of Directors

BrightSpring Health Services, Inc. announced on June 11, 2026, that Dr. Nigam H. Shah has been appointed to the Board of Directors as a Class III director, increasing the board size from seven to eight members. Dr. Shah will also serve on the Quality and Compliance Committee. He is a Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University, Chief Data Scientist at Stanford Healthcare, and Associate Dean for Health Information and Data Science. His expertise lies in leveraging technology and AI to improve patient outcomes. Dr. Shah has co-founded three companies and serves on other boards, including Prealize Health and Atropos Health. He is also a co-founder of the Coalition for Health AI (CHAI). The company expects to enter into an indemnification agreement with Dr. Shah, consistent with agreements with other directors.
