Blue Moon Metals Inc. Acquires Apex Germanium and Gallium Mine

Blue Moon Metals Inc. has closed the acquisition of the Apex Mine from Teck American Incorporated. As part of the transaction, Teck received 7,031,959 common shares of Blue Moon, representing 8.0% of the company's issued shares. Blue Moon has also granted Teck a 0.5% net smelter returns royalty on the property and entered into an investor rights agreement. The company is assuming a pre-existing 3.0% NSR royalty obligation. The Apex mine consists of 24 patented and 9 unpatented claims. Blue Moon is advancing five brownfield polymetallic projects, including the Apex mine, which is rich in germanium, gallium, and copper. These metals are listed as critical by the USGS. Major shareholders include Oaktree Capital Management, Hartree Partners LP, and Teck Resources Limited.
