Ballard Power Systems Inc. Announces Order for 15 MW in Stationary Power Market

Ballard Power Systems has received an order for 15 megawatts (MW) of fuel cell systems for stationary applications from a renewable off-grid power generation company. The order includes 150 FCmove®-HD+ 100 kW fuel cell modules and marks the second significant order from this customer. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2026, with the systems intended for use in hydrogen gensets for various applications, including live events, construction, movie sets, and critical infrastructure. This order signifies growing market acceptance of zero-emission fuel cell solutions for off-grid stationary power needs. Ballard's stationary fuel cells, which range from 100 kW to multi-megawatt configurations, are utilized globally for applications such as EV charging and off-grid power generation, offering a scalable, zero-emission, and low-noise alternative to traditional diesel generators.
