Brookfield Business Partners L.P. and Brookfield Business Corporation have announced the closing date of their corporate simplification, which will convert them into a single publicly traded Canadian corporation. The court-approved plan of arrangement is expected to be effective before market open on March 27, 2026. Upon closing, all existing partnership units and shares will be exchanged for new Class A shares of the new corporation, which will assume the name Brookfield Business Corporation. These new shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol "BBUC" on March 31, 2026.
